Move Slow!!

The story of tortoise and hare doesn't need an introduction. But needs a heed probably.Such a trifle tale of race between a professional and a novice depicting such a dramatic victory of the novice over the expert actually needs a heed.. a serious analysis.
Following are the points for analysis:

1. Moving fast, resulting in either in exhaustion or loss of interest.
2. Not letting the time to waste by following virtually foolproof process vs. giving sufficient time to establish a proven process.
The institution of process making is in itself a giant.
3. Skipping the seemingly useless details/activities of a painstaking process assuming that the result does not have an impact.
Skipping details of a process is defying the process itself. Its equal to not following the process, as each detail has a motive,a purpose.
4. Loosing attention after sufficient time of performance of a task which actually does not need attention anymore, just needs involuntary actions.
Exemplified best by the action of driving for a long time.At times while driving we are lost in some gripping thought, and as a result ,we 'involuntarily' slow down the vehicle. This action of slowdown is essentially involuntary.Somewhere within, we believe that the involuntary action of slowing down is necessary to be safe. This life saving strategy is learnt over a considerable time span, often incorporating a few accidents as well. The idea is that every inch of an action deserves a minimum amount of respect.Skipping things may be fatal.Detail is a friend.A little knowledge ,if put to use, is a dangerous thing.Open senses.Do not haste.Devil doesn't attack from the front. It seeps from the unnoticed/unfilled holes and cracks.
5. Preferring short cycles of action-result over long ones.
A long course of action often consists of shorter cycles of intermediate payoffs which may either be kept aside or invested.Securing the intermediate payoffs has an effect of the loss of the track to the greater goal. The destination metamorphically changes. The prime motive is lost and replaced by the quicker, smaller ones.If we zoom out and see the whole thing as a cycle of action and result, "preferring short cycles" will look like a never ,nowhere ending curve, randomly changing directions, crossing itself many times and the main track, the main line consists of several, continuous complete circles. On the contrary, the "long term" curve will be a clear, smooth circle, with a beginning and an end.
6. Untapped excitement resulting in either its uselessness or waste.
Generally a resource which is used without proper management sees a crisis in future.
Anything of use when used in more than sufficient amounts with unnecessary wastage and a foresight, believing that a greater amount of it can result in a quicker or better result or assuming that there is enough of it,often results in a crisis. This empirical notion applies to excitement too.Excitement is a resource. All rules of resource management and use also apply to it. Initial over excitement for a new venture often results in falling pray to either of the points 1,2,5.

All these points alluding to un-managed use of will convey a common message: move slow, look, analyse, have grip on things,be patient.

The outcome of such an attitude is bigger,better,beautiful,long-lasting and continuous(if applicable).

Righteousness,courage and karma

What follows is a logical discussion over the above assertion which has at least caused me to think seriously over few points.

Most of the old sayings common to our ears are considered as morally correct but dealt with obviously enough to render them useless.
"Fortune favors the brave" and "God helps those who help themselves" might have been put by two different ones but both mean to say the same.
Probably this is the reason why at times when we are on with a lot of zeal and courage face several instances which suggest that someone is helping us through and things are setting right by chance...!!
Why most of us finally forfeit after we are tired and think ourselves as failures.
Why most of the times our last attempt after we are completely exhausted works and we think that yes, this was that we needed.

Why the Kauravas had to face doom even after having potentially several times mightier army than Pandavas.

All these questions direct to either of the three concerns of mine here.
There is someone who is vigilantly accounting for what we do and pays accordingly.
We are advised to believe in ourselves; to believe that we can do what we ought to do.Belief is required. But actually what does belief do?

Belief takes us to a level of action which is actually required to accomplish the task. When one believes that one will win then one does what one thinks is required. This is about being honest with one's work. This is Karma.
Barriers in our way to our destination do have milestones on the other side. The biggest barrier, if it seems to be thus, has the final destination past it.That is why the last, the most tedious and exacting effort of all brings success.
Its all like supplying the threshold amount of energy to a substance.
